From Passion to Impact | Riki Siman Thomas | The Blueprint

What happens when curiosity meets opportunity and the desire to make a difference becomes the decision to act? In this conversation, Riki Siman Thomas, researcher and youth leader, takes us through the experiences, encounters, and values that have shaped his journey. From a childhood fascination with nuclear physics to discovering the power of social innovation at university, Riki shares how exposure, mentorship, and a commitment to creating change influenced his path. We also explore the story behind Tent School, how an idea to support childrening educational challenges became a free learning initiative, built with limited resources, a willing team, and a determination to begin. This is a conversation about curiosity, education, integrity, and what it means to turn an idea into action. Because meaningful work doesn't always begin with having everything figured out. Sometimes, it begins with recognising a need and choosing to do something about it.
