Transperth's Shortest Bus Route 272 Withdrawal & New Shortest Route 488 + Kent Street SHS Changes

With the 9th of November 2025 bus changes, Transperth's shortest bus route, the 272 operating between Kalamunda Bus Station and Kalamunda Community Centre, was withdrawn. In this video we ride the very last service of this route on the 7th of November 2025, as well as checking out the new 176 deviating service from Kent Street Senior High School travelling via Albany Highway to Oats Street Station after the afternoon 795 school special via Shepperton Road was withdrawn. Additionally, we head up to Butler to check out the route which has now earned the title for Transperth's shortest bus route, the 488 operating only 1.7km between Butler Station and Alkimos Primary School (if you count the 577 in Lakelands as the full circular, otherwise it is only 1.4km for it to the furthest stop from the station).
