Was Our Denver Concert Trip Worth It? Ticket Drama, Hotel, Food & Ball Arena

We took a trip to Denver to see Olivia Dean at Ball Arena, and this trip started with way more drama than we expected. We bought our tickets back in January, and then four days before the show they finally showed up in the app. But three days before the concert, the tickets were suddenly voided. We thought we got scammed and figured we would hopefully get a refund, but because we really wanted to see the show, we went ahead and bought 3 more tickets for $475 each. Then it turned out our original tickets were still valid, so we ended up with two sets of tickets. We tried to resell them and couldn’t find anyone to buy them, so in the end we gave them to 2 random strangers on Facebook — and they ended up having an amazing time. So this trip definitely came with a crazy story before we even got to Denver. In this video I’m sharing my honest review of the full Denver concert trip — where we stayed, what we ate, what it was like having floor seats and lounge access at Ball Arena, and whether I think the whole experience was worth it. We stayed at the Grand Hyatt Denver, walked over to 16th Street, used the free bus downtown, and ate at Yard House, Giordano’s, Urban Egg, and Otra Vez Cantina.
