And of course, no visit to Shinsekai is complete without trying some local Japanese food! 🍢 Our street food experience included: Takoyaki – famous Japanese octopus balls Kushikatsu – delicious deep-fried skewers Other local Japanese food and street snacks Shinsekai offers a completely different atmosphere from modern Osaka's shopping districts. Its old-fashioned charm, glowing signs and food culture make it a wonderful place to explore, especially in the evening.
