Inspired by early wire recorders and Cold War espionage devices, it transforms clean signals into something unstable and unsettling, like intercepted broadcasts, distant number stations, or fragile recordings pulled from the past. Choose between two noise and interference types and shape their intensity with the Exposure control, ranging from subtle atmospheric grit to full signal collapse. Velocity and Focus manage pitch stability, allowing sounds to drift, warble, or snap into uneasy clarity. Shortwave excels at adding tension and character to simple sources, or completely dismantling them in ways no traditional fuzz or distortion can.
