😱 Delhi Is Rebuilding Its Roads! 🇮🇳 | 270 KM Road Upgrade, New Markings & Stunning Landscaping Instagram :   / newway.journey   Delhi is witnessing a major road transformation, and in this video we take you on a long driving journey across the capital to see how roads are getting upgraded with new lane markings, smoother road surfaces, improved dividers, crash barriers, greenery and beautiful landscaping. Our journey starts from Green Park in South Delhi, where we explore the upgraded road infrastructure before moving towards Ring Road, Moti Bagh, Dhaula Kuan, Rajouri Garden, Punjabi Bagh, Moti Nagar, Shakurpur, Netaji Subhas Place, Wazirpur and Pacific Mall, and then turning towards Rohtak Road, Shivaji Park, Madipur, Paschim Vihar and Peeragarhi. Along the way, we showcase the changing look of Delhi’s roads, metro corridors, flyovers, landscaping and roadside infrastructure. A major part of the story is Delhi’s approved 270.63-km road-strengthening programme worth approximately ₹658 crore, aimed at improving road quality, markings, signage, safety infrastructure and drainage-related works. This is not just about making roads look beautiful—it is about creating smoother, safer and better-maintained urban corridors for millions of daily commuters. Join us on this complete Newway Journey through Delhi and see the ground reality of the capital’s latest road transformation. Northern Peripheral Road or NH 248-BB, commonly known as Dwarka Expressway is a 27.6 km (17.1 mi) long, under construction, 8-lane(elevated) and 8-lane(service road), total 16-lane elevated grade separated expressway connecting Dwarka in Delhi to Kherki Daula Toll Plaza, Gurgaon in Haryana. The expressway will take off from km 20 of NH 48 (old NH 8) at Shiv Murti in Mahipalpur in Delhi and terminate at km 40 of NH 48 near Kherki Daula Toll Plaza in Gurgaon in Haryana. The NPR has been planned as an alternate road link between Delhi and Gurgaon, and is expected to ease the traffic situation on the Delhi-Gurgaon Expressway. The expressway was initially planned to be 18 km (11 mi) long and was expected to open by 2012 but land acquisition issues delayed the project.
