UNBELIEVABLE!! Casting the Foundation of Our 3 Bedroom Dream Home😭🏡African Homestead Living

🏡 We Finally Started Building Our 3-Bedroom House Foundation! | Foundation Trenches, Site Leveling & Groundbreaking Welcome back to our home-building journey! ❤️ In this episode, we officially begin one of the most important stages of construction—the foundation of our future three-bedroom home. Before any excavation could begin, we first had to level the land because one side of our plot was much higher than the other. This meant removing a massive amount of soil to ensure the house would sit on level ground. Although we initially considered using a tractor, we eventually chose a more affordable option that fit within our budget. You'll also get to see the exciting process of setting out the house, where the fundis carefully transfer the architectural drawings onto the ground using measurements and white chalk. Watching the outline of our home appear for the very first time was an unforgettable experience. I'll also share my honest reaction when the house looked much smaller than I had imagined. For a moment, I even thought about asking the fundis to increase the size of the house! 😂 Thankfully, they explained why almost every first-time homeowner feels that way. One of the highlights of this video is the groundbreaking ceremony, where I had the privilege of making the very first dig before the excavation officially began—a symbolic moment that marked the beginning of turning our dream into reality. Finally, the team begins digging the foundation trenches, bringing us one step closer to building our forever home. Thank you so much for following this journey with us. Your support, encouragement, likes, comments, and subscriptions motivate us to keep documenting every stage of this project. If you're planning to build your own home one day, I hope this series helps you learn something along the way. 📌 Don't forget to: 👍 Like the video 💬 Leave your questions or advice in the comments 🔔 Subscribe and turn on notifications so you don't miss the next episode. #HouseConstruction #HomeBuildingJourney #FoundationConstruction #BuildingMyHome #ThreeBedroomHouse #Groundbreaking #FoundationTrenches #DreamHome #ConstructionVlog #KenyaConstruction 00:00 Introduction 01:40 Project Update 03:20 Site Preparation & Land Leveling 04:52 Setting Out the House 06:49 Why We Removed So Much Soil 09:43 Why the House Looked So Small 13:58 Marking the House with White Chalk 18:53 Groundbreaking Ceremony 21:39 Digging the Foundation Trenches Begins 22:53 End of Day One Update 24:14 Foundation Trenches Tour 25:30 Day Two Begins
