In this video, I’m building my full live rig from scratch using the Valeton GP-150 — creating clean, rhythm and lead patches that I’d actually use on a gig. I’m walking through my exact process, how I keep things simple, and how I dial in tones that feel big, responsive, and musical.
🎸 In this video:
• Building a clean tone from scratch
• Dialling in a gig-ready rhythm patch
• Creating a lead/boost sound without ruining your core tone
• Using compression properly for feel and dynamics
• Why I keep effects consistent across patches
• My thoughts on the GP-150 vs other Valeton units
• Setting up footswitches and expression controls
• Simple tricks for better live tone and patch flow

• iPhone app (Valeton Suite)

🔥 If you’re trying to build better patches…
Don’t overcomplicate it. You don’t need every option — just a few great sounds that work together. Keeping things consistent (like reverb and core tone) makes your whole rig feel more polished and usable live.
