The story behind the unfair rejection was in the previous KEEP UP video if you're curious :)🌟But basically, I recently got rejected a spot for this big fashion opportunity and then instead of leaving it at 'unfortunately we had lots of applications and yours wasn't successful this time around' nonsense, I emailed them back on why I thought it was an unfair judgment and told my story and the garment's. I didn't even know they would reply to it but they did. This is going to be my first fashion exhibition in melbourne, and it happens to be in the heart of Melbourne, fed square. Funny thing is, when I sent the angry email I was almost self-exiting the next morning, but now? This is it. This is the moment I've been dreaming of my whole 32 years of survival: a space to hold my story.
