Training Session: Bryt's First Dummy Retrieves

In the interest of turning Bryt into an official gundog who listens to directions when working, as opposed to just doing it all by herself using instinct and a smattering of obedience, she needs to retrieve dummies. This is the first time she's ever met a dummy, and the first time she's been asked to do memory retrieves too. As you can see, she relies on her nose FAR more than her eyeballs, so we need to work on marked retrieves as well! FYI: She learnt to stop on a whistle the day before, so that's new to her too. 🦮 About Bryt: Bryt is a 6 year old (in a couple of weeks) Working Cocker Spaniel from shoot and trialling lines who beats on small driven shoots, as well as picking up in a very unofficial capacity in her free time. She's actually trained primarily for photography modelling, where she works national events, huge stages and big workshops with students like a pro.
