Impeachment Trial | Day 7

The integrity of the Impeachment Court and its senator-judges is always relevant! We cannot take the Impeachment Court out of context. If a senator-judge — whose job is to try and decide, not to prosecute or defend — is being accused of not following the law, then we have to give them time to be heard! Let’s also remember, just because the Impeachment Court is a body of its own does not mean it can do anything that violates due process. The Supreme Court already ruled in 2025 on the proper scope of impeachment charges. If we don’t follow that, we’re in danger of having a trial that’s void ab initio!
