Sessions at the Inkwell: A Conversation with T.K. Richards

Romance can be sweet. It can be supernatural. It can come wrapped in mystery, suspense, or a Lowcountry legend. And T.K. Richards is perfectly happy exploring all of it. ❤️ In this edition of Sessions at the Inkwell: Conversations with Authors & Creatives, we sit down with South Carolina author T.K. Richards, whose stories cross romance, paranormal fiction, magical realism, multicultural fiction, thrillers, and suspense. 📚 T.K.’s books show just how many directions a story can take. Lowcountry Legends blends the paranormal with magical realism, bringing the mysteries and stories of the Lowcountry onto the page. In The Vampiress, romance takes a supernatural turn with a story combining paranormal and multicultural elements. Then there is Hear Me Out, where T.K. steps into thriller and suspense territory. ❤️ And coming October 13, 2026, readers can discover her newest romance, The Love Ballad of Juke & J.C. From the supernatural to suspense to falling in love, T.K. is not interested in staying inside just one storytelling box. 🎙️ During our conversation, we go beyond the books to talk about T.K.’s writing journey, moving between genres, creating stories with romance at their heart, exploring paranormal and suspenseful storytelling, and what inspires her to keep following a story wherever it wants to go. 📖 There’s the story on the page. Then there’s the story behind it. Get to know T.K. Richards during Sessions at the Inkwell, then come meet her in person at the Fall Book Festival 2026! 🍂 Fall Book Festival 2026 📍 The Randall House 215 Randall St Greer, SC 29651 🕚 11 AM to 5 PM Come spend the day discovering authors, exploring new stories, finding your next great read, and meeting the people behind the books. 📚 Connect with T.K.
