Ratio Splits vs Smart Splitter & Load Balance Diagrams - Satisfactory 1.2

In this video I will go over two of the most common questions I get asked about in regards to load balancing. I have load balanced many factories at this point and I tend to favor using normal splitters and mergers for a ratio split instead of making things a little simpler and using a smart splitter. I will test a number of situations that I have been skeptical of in the past to see if the smart splitter is more reliable than I give it credit for. And then I will give an example of situations where it will not work and a ratio split will be your only option to load balance it. Then I will go over how I create my load balance diagrams that I show off in many of my videos. They have been extremely helpful for anything that involves more than 2 or 3 splitters.
