The White Devil: How the RX-78-2 Gundam Almost Never Existed

It's the most famous robot in anime history — but the Earth Federation almost never built it, its own military called it a waste, and the enemy was so terrified of it they named it "the White Devil." This is the story of the RX-78-2 Gundam: the machine that started everything, and the dark truth about how its existence made the deadliest war in the timeline so much worse. From Project V and the learning computer to the terrified teenager forced to pilot it, we break down why this one prototype changed warfare, launched a 40-year franchise, and became the blueprint for every Gundam that followed. ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ 🤖 Which mobile suit should I break down next — the Nu Gundam, the Zeta, Char's machines?
