Glebe Sydney｜The Chinese History Hidden in This Inner-City Neighbourhood｜被忽略的华人记忆

Glebe is one of Sydney’s most historic and character-filled inner-city neighbourhoods, known for its markets, cafés, old terraces and diverse community. But here’s a question you may not have thought about: Was Glebe once a Chinese neighbourhood? In this episode, I take a walk through Glebe to look for traces of its Chinese community and explore how the neighbourhood has changed over time. From its older streets and local businesses to the multicultural character of Glebe today, this is less about finding a simple answer and more about discovering the layers of history hidden in an ordinary Sydney neighbourhood.
