Munshi Habibullah Mission school, Kargil, Ladakh, ethnic culture and traditional dress

Munshi Habibullah Mission school, Kargil, Ladakh A school with focus on Inclusive Education for under-privileged children in the remote areas of Kargil, Ladakh. We also work in collaboration with Ladakh Hilfe/REWA society to rehabilitate physically disabled children in the region. Kargil is situated in the state of Jammu & Kashmir at the Indo-Pakistani border in north India. Giving a boost to the ethnic culture and traditional dress of various ethnic groups of Kargil, a dress show was organized at Munshi Habib Ullah Mission School Kargil. Many students participated and portrayed dresses of various culture and ethnic groups of Kargil (Purgi, Shina and Balti). "It brings a sense of belongingness in the students towards their culture and tradition which is slowly diminishing from the society of Kargil". Gulzar Hussain Munshi (Director of the school ) . The Chief Guest Kacho Ahmad Ali Khan, while interacting with the students told that such programmes not only helps in preserving the culture in the society but also increase the creativity amongst the students which is very important for a bright future. He congratulated the school administration and the Munshi Family for adopting the educational up-liftment policy of Late Munshi Habibullah. The guest of honour Haji Ghulam Amir Kamran appreciated the talent and special training of the students which shows the confidence beneath them and requested the parents to support their children in such good deeds. Ajaz Hussain Munshi presented the vote of thanks and told that there are lots of other programmes in their school curriculum such as, Ethnic food show which will help the students to come close to their culture and tradition.
