Persian Deep House meets the poetry of Hossein Monzavi. This mix brings together five poems in a softer, atmospheric Deep House setting, with Persian vocals used more as part of the mood than as a big dramatic lead. For this series, I’m exploring another side of Persian poetry: modern electronic production, deep grooves, spacious arrangements and vocals that can live inside the music rather than constantly demanding attention. The idea is to make something you can actually keep playing in the background while working, driving, reading or winding down, while the Persian poetry still remains at the heart of the track.
