(15 min version of) SV Morning Bird, an S&S34 Captained by John McCormack and crewed by me, sails to Lord Howe Island for the annual November BBQ. LHI is 420nm NE of Sydney, within the Tasman Sea. We had a wide range of conditions: dead calm and flat to 45-50 knots to 4 metre swell plus.
