Roadhouse Blues - Ohlone College Blues/Rock Class Spring 2026

Why's there so many horses??? Sooo many horses... I'm including my introduction at the beginning. Like I said, I just wanted to play a song by The Doors. During spring break or so, I tried to get my brother AJ to play with us as a band for the first time. I chose a really easy song: I Wanna Be Your Dog. Then I asked Gabe to sing on it. I had no fucking idea he could do all THAT. I saw the Jim Morrison potential in him. And he did not disappoint. Like I said, it's like the spirit of Jim Morrison possessed him this night! And like I mentioned, we rehearsed this once, outside the hallway on campus, then presented it to the class the following day. IT SOUNDS SOOOO FUCKING GOOD! It's my favorite feeling ever. You can see me cheesing so hard at a few points during the performance. While rehearsing it, I directed Gabe to just sing whatever bullshit. It was cracking me and Paul up so bad. I remember him just starting to speak Spanish at one point. I wish he did that more during the actual performance because it was so fucking funny. Anyway, this song was simple but so much fun! Why am I even yapping? Are you even reading this, Gabriel? Do you even remember any of this happening? Lowkey top 10 moments in my life that aged like milk, still a fond memory though.
