The IDEAL backup for my Fractal FM3? : Tonex ONE

Here's how I use the Tonex One as a backup rig for my Fractal FM3 I can't really afford/warrant a second FM3 as a backup rig, so what's a good option in a pinch that can fit in my gigbag? The IK Multimedia Tonex ONE especially with the new FX update, is quite a nice contender, given that you can capture your signal chain from the Fractal unit (complete with Multiband compressor, EQing etc...) so you'll have the same tone on the go There are some limitations and things to bear in mind, but thought I'd share this in case it's useful for some of you out there, this applies to my use case scenario, we all have different setups, but given how dialed in digital rigs are these days, it's great to have an option that has the same tone, should anything go wrong Guitar is an Ibanez RGDIX6PB with Evertune retrofit, Häussel Vin + ceramic pickup in the bridge -- -- -- ►►► Thomann Affiliate🔊: https://www.thomann.de/intl/thlpg_fi5... -- -- -- ►►► All my Fractal audio presets 🎸: https://ko-fi.com/s/5a6542f393 -- -- -- ►►► Buy me a coffee ☕: https://ko-fi.com/paulbradshawguitar -- -- -- ►►► All my links 🎧: https://linktr.ee/paulbradshawguitar -- -- -- ✨Lights FGEN Softbox set : https://amzn.to/4dL5QOA Ambitful A1 : https://amzn.to/4dHqn6B Raleno Video Light: https://amzn.to/4dJ5V5n Phillips Hue: https://amzn.to/4f3NCcd 📸 Cameras Sony ZV-1 : https://amzn.to/4dHqn6B DJI Osmo Pocket 3 : https://amzn.to/4eI856G 💡Accessories: Table camera stand : https://amzn.to/3BFDwjg Camera Table mount: https://amzn.to/3NlWpdQ -- -- -- TIME STAMPS 00:00 Intro 00:23 Fractal FM3 preset setup 01:36 TONE Fractal FM3 vs Tonex 02:01 Limitations 02:24 TONE switching / no spillover , slight audio gap 02:37 Extra bits and pieces 03:13 TONE Tonex vs Fractal FM3 03:41 Functionality + Midi concerns 04:31 Thanks for watching #fractalaudio #tonex
