The Harrisburg Cougars welcomed Mid-Penn Commonwealth rival Cedar Cliff to Severance Field on Saturday, Sept. 5, for an early-season conference matchup. Harrisburg entered the game 1-0 after opening the season with a 40-19 victory over William Penn, while Cedar Cliff was looking to rebound from a 30-20 loss to Red Land. Harrisburg quickly took control, using its size, speed and playmaking ability to build a commanding advantage. Live scoring had the Cougars ahead 40-7 early in the third quarter, continuing Harrisburg’s recent success against the Colts after defeating Cedar Cliff 42-0 in 2025. The matchup gave Harrisburg another opportunity to showcase a talented roster as the Cougars begin their run through a challenging Mid-Penn Commonwealth schedule.
