Maiya Mori - Sant Surdas

Maiya Mori | A Janmashtami Special 💙🦚 “Maiya mori, main nahin makhan khayo…” 🧈 What happens when little Krishna is caught with the evidence… but insists he had absolutely nothing to do with the missing butter? 😇 This Janmashtami, Taraana Academy of Kathak brings to life one of the most endearing moments between Yashoda and her mischievous little Krishna, through the timeless words of Sant Surdas. Maiya Mori is more than Krishna’s playful denial. It is a glimpse into the beautiful world of Vatsalya Bhava - a mother’s love that sees through every excuse, every little lie and every bit of mischief… and somehow loves him even more for it. Through Kathak, abhinaya and storytelling, we celebrate the Krishna who steals butter, wins hearts and reminds us that sometimes the Divine appears not in grandeur, but in the innocence of a child. 💙 Concept & Choreography : Shritha Baskar Featuring Yashoda — Shritha Baskar Krishna — Naia Khonda Makeup & Hair— Naturals Salons Photography & Videography — Memories by Subash Presented by — Taraana Academy of Kathak If this little Krishna brought a smile to your face, hit the LIKE and SUBSCRIBE to our channel for more Kathak, Indian classical dance and stories brought alive through movement. ✨ 🔔 Don’t forget to turn on notifications so you never miss a Taraana release. #MaiyaMori #Janmashtami #Krishna #YashodaKrishna #Kathak #Surdas #KrishnaJanmashtami #IndianClassicalDance #Abhinaya #TaraanaAcademyOfKathak #JanmashtamiSpecial
