Woodworking Project: How to Build a Folding Door Cabinet with Reclaimed Wood

Hello everyone, this is wakakusawoodworking! For this Woodworking Project, I finally took on the Upcycle of an old storage unit that I've been wanting to do for a while. I found this dilapidated dresser nearby and brought it home. I was initially using it as a toolbox, but since it was in such bad shape, I decided it was time for a full-scale renovation and rebirth! For materials, I mainly used construction waste and scrap wood that I've collected over time. Seeing salvaged wood get a new lease on life is truly the best feeling. I'm transforming this dresser into a "Showcase Storage" piece that can be the focal point of a living room! A Summer Challenge: Warping Wood The truth is, this project was a battle against the summer heat...! My workshop reached nearly 40 degrees Celsius (104°F), which caused the wooden door panels to warp—a real headache. I struggled with the repair, but by using Urethane Coating (Polyurethane finish), I managed to keep the wood panels from further distortion.
