Ihloosuhree - Slaven Der Ontbinding (album, 2026) experimental black metal

Today it is my pleasure to present the second album from Belgian black metal band Ihloosuhree, Slaven der Ontbinding. Atmospheric, claustrophobic tendrils of obsidian madness undulate and coil around the synapses of a black metal core, disorienting the senses with a shifting uneasy dissonance and surreal melodicism. A similar effect to the sole, immaculate, Andavald album, as well as Skaphe, Wormlust and the Icelandic scene, but perhaps here, these Belgians push the feverish delirium and chaos a little further towards the unpredictable and erratic. The same psychedelic, hallucinatory experience, corrupted with a dirty carnage. A relentless vortex of gnashing collapse, imploding cosmic effluence and existential torment, where decomposition becomes transcendence. Great stuff.
