It is with a deeply heavy heart that I am sharing this video. We recently received the devastating news that Zac Robson, an incredibly talented young musician from Brighton who featured on this channel many times, has passed away in his early 20s. To lose someone so young, with so much ahead of him, is a heartbreaking reminder of just how brief and fragile life can be. Many of you will remember Zac from his incredible busking sessions, his solo work under the moniker COALFACE, or fronting his indie rock band, The Kicks. He was a staple of the local grassroots music scene, regularly lighting up venues like The Folklore Rooms and The Pipeline. Beyond his undeniable gift for music, Zac was a remarkably kind, polite, and vibrant soul who treated everyone with genuine warmth. I am releasing this archival footage to keep his memory alive and to celebrate the art he shared with us. Please note that because some of these clips are older, the audio quality isn't perfect. However, I felt it was incredibly important to share them anyway; not just for his fans, but as a lasting space for his friends, family, and everyone who loved him to look back and remember his talent.
