My Dog, Memphis, Doing A Blep For The Very First Time

Memphis has a Blep! What's a Blep? Well that's when just a small part of a tongue is sticking out! Shelby does it all the time, but I have never seen Memphis do it! So what's going on today? Today. . I am finally going to start painting the kitchen! Today we are working on a massive DIY home improvement project and doing some interior painting. I am finally tackling our kitchen makeover by putting Zinsser primer over that dark stained wood around the windows and doors. I want to brighten up the room with crisp white trim and a fresh coat of Varnished Ivory paint. Of course doing a kitchen renovation with Siberian Huskies around means dodging shedding hair in the wet paint! While I was prepping my winter painting clothes we caught the absolute cutest moment on camera. Memphis did her very first blep! She was fast asleep and dreaming with her tiny tongue sticking out. We also unboxed an adorable surprise canvas portrait of Shelby from Chewy. The weather in northern Michigan is acting crazy as always. Just when the snow started melting and making a nice path for the dogs it started snowing again! Things got even wilder when Shelby and Memphis spotted a stray cat hiding outside under Jamies Jeep. They were going absolutely crazy trying to get outside but they had to stay inside away from the wet primer. We finally opened the windows to air out the paint fumes and settled in for some relaxing Husky massages.
