Shakuhachi lesson with my sensei - studying Tamuke "手向", Shiku Yano and Marcus Kirchner in Japan

Meet Shiku Yano at Shakuhachi Summer Festival from August 11 to 15 in Karlstadt/Germany. Join us at www.shakuhachi.de! Recording of a Shakuhachi lesson with my sensei - studying Tamuke "手向" Shiku Yano and Marcus Kirchner, at the temple of Shiku Yano in Kira, Aichi, Japan in November 2019. www.shakuhachi.de Flute sale 2021: http://www.shakuhachi.de/sale.html My long-time friend and teacher Shiku Yano was diagnosed with colon cancer earlier this year. After surgery and chemotherapy in April, metastases were found in the liver. Now, in mid-October 2020, an operation of the liver is scheduled to take place, with half of the liver being removed. Unfortunately in Japan there is only a minimal basic insurance for the hospital. The method used for operating Shiku and treat the liver must be paid for privately. Shiku Yano has been a Buddhist monk for 40 years and lives in Japan near Nagoya. He is a player of the Japanese bamboo flute Shakuhachi. He has made numerous concert tours to Europe and has been an ambassador of Japanese culture and music for decades. He also has many students who learn the Shakuhachi with him. He touched the people at the concerts with his flute playing. Please help to finance the operation and the following rehabilitation. Every Euro/Dollar/Yen counts. Even small sums of 5 or 10 Euros help to get closer to the goal! https://gf.me/u/yu8zqx
