Ryan and I head out to Harpswell, Maine, for our very first day setting traps. We deploy our gear, see what the traps bring up, and take our first real step toward documenting and removing one of Maine's most destructive invasive species. Join us as we begin what we hope will become a long-term conservation effort, one trap at a time. Audio Credits: Groove - Dyalla Drunken Sailor - Cooper Cannell Forest Find - TrackTribe Dopamina - Inaban The Maine Green Crab Project documents the removal of invasive European green crabs while exploring practical, science-based solutions to help protect Maine's coastal ecosystems. Every trap tells a story. Along the way you'll see the wildlife we encounter, the challenges of working on the water, and the real process of turning an environmental problem into an opportunity.
