Columbia Hills State Park is on the Washington side of the Columbia River Gorge, including the Horsethief Lake, Dalles Mountain Ranch areas, and the campground. We were escaping from the afternoon heat to cool off at Horsethief Lake, checking out the campground, and exploring the petroglyphs and the trails at the Dalles Mountain Ranch area.
