GW2 | WvW | Celestial Tempest | Pre & Post July Patch | Fights in T2 | Mag vs AR, NSP, TC, HoD

(Chapter Descriptions below) Because the patch came mid-week, I went kinda MIA for half the week and didn't record as many fights resulting in this video featuring fights from two back to back matches, wherein I am only mentioning the servers featured in my actual footage. There are a couple of reasons for this: A) pre-patch WvW lull was real and made weekend after reset really boring, so I decided to just wait (obviously, like others). B) Mag was already trending to get first place in this match-up and myself, like many others, actually don't want to win and advance into T1, and would therefore be happy to lose enough to get into 2nd place and stay in T2. C) Thoughts regarding patch: With the use of the 10% damage boost from Persisting Flames, I'm definitely noticing a nice boost in my DPS which sometimes seems much closer to a 20% boost, which makes sense since this build does TWO types of damage and most skills also deal in both types together (power/condi) and it seems the 10% boost to damage applies to condition damage simultaneously, which is just one more reason why Celestial works so well. The cooldown reductions of water 2 and 5 make it very easy to camp water and continuously heal & provide frost aura. |Chapters| Notes: The first set of fights in/near BAY are the only one that are pre-patch. Notes: After fulfilling 25 stacks, switch to secondary staff which replaces stacking sigil with Sigil of Frenzy. Also, if lacking group support & you find yourself consistently unable to finish overloads or caught up, in Tempest trait-line take Harmonious Conduit over Tempestuous Aria. For more support, in Fire Elite take Pryomancer's Puissance & in Water take Soothing Ice & Cleansing Wave.
