Short answer: नहीं। असल में Space rock 2026 RW1 का size सिर्फ करीब एक meter था। यानी ये कोई विशाल asteroid नहीं था। जैसे ही ये cosmic velocity से Earth की तरफ आया और atmosphere में दाखिल हुआ, हमारे planet के natural shield—यानि atmosphere—ने इसे surface से miles ऊपर ही harmlessly disintegrate कर दिया। इसका मतलब ये है कि asteroid Earth की जमीन तक पहुंच ही नहीं पाया। Atmosphere ने इसकी energy को absorb किया और ये rock आसमान में ही टूटकर खत्म हो गया। लेकिन यहां एक बेहद important बात है। असली story सिर्फ एक बुझते हुए cosmic rock की नहीं है... असली story ये है कि इस छोटे से asteroid ने Astronomy History create कर दी! 2026 RW1 is the first Aten-class asteroid ever detected in space before hitting our atmosphere.
