Ginan: Eji Satpanth vohri virā algā na rahie Nūr piyo mukhe juṭhūṅ na kahie Eji Jeṇe upāyā ne jeṇe nipāyā Sohi re sāheb ne teṅ ghaḍi na sambhāriyā Eji Mārūṅ mārūṅ kartā janam gamāviyo Hirlā sarikho āvo mānkho ḍubāviyo Eji Āvo mārā moti nā vepāri Moti vorantā vahāli vastū visāri Eji Bhuli chhe duniyā ne maram na jāṇe Alakh nirinjan imām na pichhāṇe Eji Bhaṇe Pir Shams tame cheti ne chālo Phari phari āvo mānkho nahiṅ mālo Eji Āre kāyā tāri phulan ko bāro Nathi re ugarvāno eke āro Eji Dān pun dejo virā supātre joi Srevā nā phal tame levore sohi Eji Pun dān dije virā āpṇe re hāthe Antkāḷe āve tārā jivḍāni sāthe Eji Eso ginān Pir Shams boliyā Rikhisar jāṇi sāhebe paḍdā kholiyā Eji Paḍdā khuliyā ne sāheb najare sūn miliyā Lakh chorāsi nā pherā ja ṭaḷiyā Translation: O brother! After obtaining Satpanth do not remain aloof from it. Partake of Nūr (light) and do not speak lie. O brother! He who made and created, you did not remember that Lord even for a second. O brother! He wasted the whole life in egotism (and) ruined such a diamond-like human form. O brother! O my trader of pearls! Come, while trading in pearls forgot the beloved thing. O brother! This world is oblivious and does not know the essence. It does not recognize the incomprehensible and the unblemished Imam (a.s.). O brother! Pir Shams (r.a.) says: walk vigilantly! You will not get such a human life again and again. O brother! This body is like a bunch of flowers (or bouquet); there is no way of escaping from it. O brother! Be charitable to the deserving; you will obtain the fruit of worship. O brother! Donate with your own hands; at the last moment this will come with your soul. O brother! Pir Shams (r.a.) said this ginan. On seeing the believers, the Lord removed the curtain. O brother! The curtain was removed, and we saw the Lord with our eyes. The cycles of 8.4 million births ended.
