Terra Invicta (Broken Earth): Initiative Aussies, Part 16: BETRAYED BY ROME

[Sep 2117 - Dec 2117] In Part 16 of our run we start with a little Cohesion mischief. Right after the combined armies of Mare Nostrum, Westralia, and the Southern Cross take out New C., Rome rivals the Southern Cross and declares war on it, bumping its Cohesion by 3 and Westralia's Cohesion by 1, which should be very helpful when we merge our Australias a month later. Our new mega-Australia will, for now, go something along the lines of 40/20/40 for Econ, Knowledge, and MC. The thought was to build out MC and then switch to more of a pure Econ/Knowledge build, Giga-Science China style, but as we'll see, soon we'll be growing so fast through Econ that our MC cap will go up as fast as we can build it! Space-wise we use the MC that is rolling in to build some more platforms and settle a handful more asteroids. And Tech-wise -- Quantum Computing is DONE, woot! ----- Note on early comparison of Ledger science between an early run and this run -- the explanation (obvious in retrospect) is that two nations generate more research than the unified nation, I'm sure that's what was going on. Note on priority setting around minute 35 - once again, I should have waited an extra day for the IP for the unified Westralia to update, it went from 49 to 65. Gotta remember that you have to wait a day before setting priorities ...
