A Bug Safari at Shelburne Farms

Join Alicia Daniel and Leslie Spencer on a “bug safari” at Shelburne Farms, where they explore the landscape from “bedrock to bees.” Leslie caught the pollinator (and teaching!) bug while studying biology at Tufts University, where she was a member of the Tufts Pollinator Initiative (TPI). TPI co-founder Nick Dorian created the idea of a “pollinator safari” to invite Greater Boston residents to slow down and take a closer look at the insects living alongside them. The idea has since taken flight and landed in Vermont, where Leslie regularly leads pollinator safaris at Shelburne Farms.
