Willow - Lyrics | The Girl Behind The Mask

I wrote “Willow” about my experiences with mental illness, particularly borderline personality disorder (BPD) and depression, the emotional weight, the struggles people don’t always see, and the difficulty of explaining what’s happening inside my own mind. Turning those feelings into poetry and music gives me a way to share what can be hard to say out loud. This song is a personal piece of that story. If you recognize something of yourself in “Willow,” I hope it helps you feel a little less alone. 🖤 Lyrics written by me, Lauren. Virtual vocalist: Clara Vale
