GR131 Gran Canaria - Solo Hike & Wild Camp: Day 1

Footage from my first day on the GR131 trail solo hiking across Gran Canaria. I spent three days walking across the Island from Agaete in the Northwest, to Maspalomas in the South, wildcamping two nights on trail. I started walking around 10.45am on Tuesday, November 23rd, 2021. Starting with 3.5 litres of water in my backpack, I made it to the small town of Artenara mid afternoon. A well stocked Spar shop there provided me with the chance to replenish my water and buy a few snacks before heading a few kilometres out of town to make camp for the night.
