How to Stratify Butternuts (Otherwise Known as White Walnuts)

In today's video, I am going to show you how to stratify butternuts, also known as white walnuts. Although my instructions may be slightly unorganized, by the end of the video, you will understand the process of stratification. Butternuts, or white walnuts, have become increasingly difficult to find in the last few decades due to a disease called butternut canker. The butternuts used in this video were obtained from a 70-year-old butternut tree in my local town. I am excited to propagate these nuts and share this knowledge with you. Thank you for watching. #trees #howto #whitewalnut
