HE TESTED 16 SISTERS WITH ONE PRAYER | Dag Heward-Mills

He tells the story of a brother who desperately wanted a wife, with sixteen possible sisters in the church to choose from. Not knowing who to pick, he turned a prayer meeting into a quiet test, calling sisters one by one to pray out loud without telling them it was really an audition for marriage. Most of them just repeated "Oh Daddy Jesus" over and over with nothing behind it. One sister prayed Scripture after Scripture, and he knew instantly she was the one. He reads Psalm 119:28, "strengthen thou me according to thy word," and warns: don't marry someone empty of the word, because that's where real strength comes from.
