Plattenbau - Rest In Power

Lyrics: Rest in power Rest in peace Rest in power Rest in power Rest in peace Rest in power Rest in peace Rest in power Rest in peace We will never forget your name We will never be free Rest in power Rest in peace We will never forget your name We will never be free Casually damned in this movable feast Holding hands in the cemetery I wanna die for love But i live in the 21st century Chit-chatting our way to the guillotine Protected by a paywall And military machines Fighter jets around the fortress Defending my enemy’s dream But this fortress has been good to me Since the ripe age of twenty three “Keep the heathens out, Let them perish on the seas for me” They say, in the 21st century Rest in power Rest in peace We will never forget your name We will never be free Rest in power Rest in peace We will never forget your name We will never be free My brothers and my sisters They can’t agree Fight it out as our enemies reap Tail-chasing like snakes And preying on the weak My foremothers Bled into this earth for me Blood thirsty Sitting in the cemetery My forefathers Snatched up all this wealth for me With the hands of my enemies Rest in power Rest in peace Casually damned in this movable feast Thirsty for my next fix of cheap dopamine It’s a sick nightmare Or is it just a dream Do I care? Jewels under the pavement Boots on the street 26/8 always hell on my screen Guilty conscience Eighty thousand leagues under the sea Not my legal body Not my responsibility Tired of disaster And repeating this verse Starting to like it Coz I’m held in a curse Bombs over the east And I’m burning On this beach Rest in peace Rest in power Rest in peace We will never forget your name We will never be free Rest in power Rest in peace We will never forget your name We will never be free Rest in power We will never forget your name We will never be free Rest in power Rest in power Rest in power Rest in peace Rest in power Rest in power Rest in power Rest in peace Video Credits: DOP: Sebastian Steins Camcorder: Maria Sécio Edit: Lewis Lloyd Production design: Grace Nicholas Special thanks to fiore for helping with the lighting setup :)
