Has Suno Broken The Vocals in V6? Has Suno broken the vocals in V6, or are we simply using Suno V6 incorrectly? I've heard it myself. Some generations can sound scratchy, thin or slightly compressed. But rather than deciding the vocals were broken, I wanted to find out what was actually going on. In this video I take the same artist, the same song and the same lyrics and start with the type of prompt I would have used with Suno V5.5. Then I gradually change the way I describe the vocals, instruments, performance and production for V6. The difference surprised me. So can you get better vocals with Suno V6? Are we using Suno V6 correctly? And perhaps more importantly, will reading the manual help get better vocals in V6? I test four different approaches, including creating a Suno V6 prompt specifically around the lyrics and telling Suno how I want the verses, pre-chorus, chorus, lead vocal and backing vocals to actually sound and be performed. By the final test, I'm using the full 1,000-character style prompt. There is no Suno Studio processing, no lifting the vocals and no remastering in the test. These are straight Suno V6 generations so you can hear the difference the prompts make. My conclusion isn't that Suno V6 is perfect. It's that perhaps we need to change the way we prompt it. Same artist. Same song. Better prompt. Better vocals. I've included the prompts used in the video in the comments so you can try them, change them and see what happens with your own songs. Let me know what you hear. Do the vocals improve? Have you been using your old V5 or V5.5 prompts with V6? And have you found another way of getting cleaner vocals?
