1998-99 High School Basketball: MADISON CENTRAL vs. PERRY CENTRAL

HAZARD, Ky. January 29, 1999 - In a match-up of eventual regional championship winners, Madison Central poured it on Perry Central winning in blowout fashion 102-68. It was a homecoming for Kenneal Jenkins, from Hazard, who dunked all over the Commodores and with Marquis Estill patrolling the middle, it was over by halftime. The Indians also got a solid performance from guard Brandon Fritz who popped several 3-pointers. Madison Central head coach Allan Feldhaus got an early technical after Estill was called for a foul as blocked a shot from Brian Kilburn. Referee Larry Thacker and Feldhaus had a heated conversation which was later was joined by official Dexter Campbell. It was highly entertaining with Feldhaus repeatedly saying, "Just let them play!"
