Girl's trip! Today my friend Yuma and I are headed to the traditional town of Kawagoe, around 1.5hrs out of Tokyo, to attend their annual Kawagoe Festival! It was my first time experiencing a Japanese festival, and WHAT A DAY. From trying every streetfood-on-a-stick I could get my hands on, to playing festival games (that we definitely didn't have a chance of winning lol iykyk), to witnessing the incredible parade floats fill the Edo-period streets of Kawagoe, I will never forget this day.
