Replacing Blower Motor 1995 Mazda Miata MX-5 NA

Welcome! In this video I do a remove and replace of the HVAC blower motor in my 1995 Mazda Miata MX-5 NA. The blower motor started to emit white smoke and get quite hot after leaving the blower powered for a few minutes, so I figured it was quite dead. I pull the blower out and verify the bearing on the fan were so seized that it couldn't spin. I think this video should work for any NA/NB Miata (1990-2005) but I don't have 100% confirmation of that. WARNING! This video is for entertainment purposes only.
