Early in the morning, the whole family heads to their vineyard to harvest ripe, juicy grapes. Their three little boys eagerly help their parents fill box after box with fresh grapes. Back at home, Maryna and the children carefully remove the grapes from their stems, while Vasyl crushes them with a special mixing tool. The grape mixture is left to rest before the family extracts the fresh juice. 🥔 Preparing for the Cold Mountain Winter! Vasyl gathers fresh evergreen branches and prepares a special potato storage pit in the cellar. He carries many heavy sacks of potatoes to keep the family supplied throughout the long winter. 🔥 Traditional Homemade Lecho Cooked Over an Open Fire! Meanwhile, Maryna works outdoors, preparing a delicious homemade vegetable lecho over a wood fire. She carefully fills and preserves many jars for winter, following the traditions of rural Carpathian life. 🥞🍎 A Cozy Family Dinner! After a long and productive day, Maryna prepares delicious stuffed pancakes and a large homemade apple pie for her children.
