MoonDAO's Q4 2026 Project Cohort Vote

Five projects are up for MoonDAO's Q4 2026 Member Vote. Here is how the vote works, followed by each team's full pitch in their own words. Twelve teams pitched at Pitch Day on October 15, and the MoonDAO Senate approved five to advance. Voting members now split their voting power across those five. The top three by voting power are funded from the $8,500 Q4 pot, each at its ask or a quarter of the pot, whichever is lower. This proposal funds upgrades to those suits for future research. MDP-275 · Sentinel Bio+ A student team at San Jose State University, working with San Diego State University and the San Diego Space Institute, is building a satellite constellation with science payloads. The proposal funds a second FlatSat test bench so subsystems can be tested in parallel, with the engineering package released openly. MDP-269 · MoonDAO Open Space Academy An open-source web app that turns dense settlement-design material into simple in-browser tools. Anyone can simulate crew living spaces, life support and funding models. It supports MoonDAO's Settlement Design phase. MDP-274 · Lunar Ledger API for Mission Control The Open Lunar Foundation's Lunar Ledger is a neutral, shared record of lunar missions, already used by lunar operators. This project connects it to open-source mission control software and opens non-proprietary data to the public. MDP-276 · Spaceflight Training Scholarships The Inspired 24 runs civilian spaceflight training, including pressure-suit operations and sea survival. The proposal sponsors seats for MoonDAO citizens and widens access for underrepresented spacefarers.
