Portugal | University of Coimbra, Historic Library, Dom Luís I Bridge & Porto Sunset** Our Portugal journey continues from the historic city of *Coimbra to the beautiful city of Porto! 🇵🇹* We started the day by checking out from our stay in Coimbra and headed straight to the famous **University of Coimbra (Universidade de Coimbra)**, one of the oldest universities in Europe and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Walking through this historic university was like stepping back in time. We explored the magnificent *Royal Palace of Alcáçova (Paço das Escolas)**, the beautiful **São Miguel Chapel (Capela de São Miguel)**, and the incredible **Joanina Library (Biblioteca Joanina)* — one of the most famous historic libraries in Portugal. 📚 We also spent some time exploring the university's museum and enjoying the beautiful views and centuries of history surrounding the University of Coimbra. After finishing our Coimbra sightseeing, it was time for the next destination! 🚗💨 We started our **road trip from Coimbra to Porto**, a drive of around 1–1.5 hours, and reached Porto ready to spend an unforgettable evening in the city. Our first major sight was the iconic *Dom Luís I Bridge (Ponte de Dom Luís I)* over the *Douro River* — easily one of the most recognizable sights in Porto. The views of *Porto, Ribeira and Vila Nova de Gaia* from around the bridge are absolutely stunning. As evening arrived, Porto completely changed its vibe. ❤️ We enjoyed the lively streets filled with **street musicians**, walked around the beautiful riverside area, and later came across an amazing live music performance on the hilltop surrounded by a huge crowd. Music, people, views of Porto and the evening atmosphere made it one of those travel moments you don't forget.
