In late October 2021 I hiked to Everest Base Camp in Nepal's Khumbu region: nine days and about 52 miles (85 km) on foot from Lukla. I walked up the Dudh Kosi to Namche Bazaar, through Khumjung, Tengboche and Pangboche to Pheriche, then past Lobuche to Gorak Shep, Kala Patthar and the Base Camp rock, and back down to Pheriche. I made the trek with a small group of international YouTubers while a reality TV challenge show was being filmed. This is the quiet hiking film, day by day.
