2017-2019 Chevy Volt shift to park IN CAR REPAIR easiest real fix

Must be able to solder, but do NOT have to rip apart shifter knob to replace the $3.84 switch. NOTE: NOT LIABLE IF CAR RUNS INTO ANYTHING AS HAVE TO PLACE INTO DRIVE WITH PARKING BRAKE ON FOR THIS METHOD. DO ALL THIS AND ALL CAR REPAIRS AT YOUR OWN RISK. About 30 minutes for total repair. I put in the GM current limiting resistor years before this and still had this problem. The Original switch made 5 yrs/60k Miles. Now, no problems 2 yrs and 22K miles later.
