In this episode, I head deep into Buckland Valley—one of Victoria's most famous 1850s Gold Rush regions—for an off-grid ute camping trip!
What started as a journey to explore historic gold country turned into an adventure when I ran straight into a raging, flooded river that completely blocked the trail. Unable to cross, I made camp right by the water's edge, surrounded by local wildlife including herds of kangaroos and cattle along the way.
To make the most of being trapped by the floodwaters, I whipped up a massive seafood paella on the campfire.
