Located in Zhangjiajie, this place is known for its insane beauty, steep cliffs, and one of the most thrilling travel experiences in the world. But what makes this place even more special is its connection to the Hollywood movie Avatar. The floating mountains you see in the movie were actually inspired by the real-life pillar mountains of Zhangjiajie National Forest Park. When you see these mountains in real life, it truly feels like you’ve entered another planet. To reach Heaven’s Gate, I took one of the world’s longest cable cars, stretching over mountains, valleys, and clouds. The view from above is absolutely breathtaking and slightly terrifying at the same time. After that, there are 999 steps leading up to the Heaven’s Gate — a journey that tests your stamina but rewards you with an unforgettable experience. 🏔️ About Zhangjiajie Zhangjiajie is located in Hunan province of China and is famous for its unique sandstone pillar mountains.
